Segment lining construction is completed by the repeated process forming single ring.
Regarding connection method between segments, the connection toward circumference is called as segment connection, and the connection toward tunnel axis is called as ring connection. When connecting between rings, normal segment is to be constructed by so called 占쏙옙cross structure占쏙옙 in which segment connection between neighboring rings are assembled not to be overlapped toward tunnel axis.
Since segments form one ring by connection, this is a precision product with size error between 1 and 2mm. |

Torsional rigidity of segment connection part is high, but in terms of structure, ring connections are relatively few, so that the effect of spliced grafting is small. |
